Chelmsford Gyms?

Hey

I am moving frm Lancashire to Chelmsford Essex in a month or so and was wondering what gyms are worth checking out?

One of my mates goes to Cannons and says its ok but a bit expensive,

Anyone from Chelmsford?

Cheers

Devon House has closed down. Best Gym is in Billericay (10 miles from Chelmsford) called Agila Health which has everything you need and then some. £25 a month. No contract. No joining fee. Better equipped than Temple Gym.

Not as cheap as Agila's at £25 a month, but smack bang in the centre of town so you obviously wont have to drive 20 mins to and from a decent gym.

Hello mate, just wondered how you got on at Workhouse? And how are you finding Chelmsford?
I live in Witham, so only about 15mins up the road, but go to uni in Chelmsford and although I train at home at the mo I'd be interested in trying a gym in Chelmsford.

Hi mate,

I am going to try Workhouse tomorrow morning, ive been going to Cannons since I moved here.. I like Chelmsford, there always seems to be something to do. I will let you know how it goes at Workhouse, I think it will be good, by the looks of the equipment they have it is more of what I am used to and loads better than Cannons!

Cheers,

I trained there 4 or 5 times as an ex-girlfriend lived in Chelmsford so it was convenient.
My home is Muscle Limits in Enfield http://www.musclelimitgym.com .

Cant really comment on atmosphere as I dont really notice tbh, just get on with the task in hand. I liked it very much at Workhouse as it had good equipment and thats all I needed. Just go there tomorrow and see if you like it mate, then I would go to Agila's another day and see which gym you prefer out the two.

Let us know how you get on :lift:

p.s. Chelmsford is a great place.

Bobins, How you getting on at the workhouse. Seriously thinking about it myself. Been training at home, but due to a house move I need a gym. Tried the phone number on the site but it doesn't work.

Thanks in advance for your opinions
