Anyone into grip training???

Hey guys, just wondered if anyone on here trains grip ?
I can currently close the Captains Of Crush 2 gripper, I'm wanting to close the COC3,
If you guys haven't tried these before they are a different league to the store grippers you can buy, the COC2 gripper requires 190lbs of pressure to close, that's twice the average grip strength of a strong male. worth a try, improve your forearms in the process, definatly good fun taking them down the gym to see who can shut them!

Dave.

Very good grip site : http://www.gripboard.com/index.php

The captains of crush grippers are made by Ironmind :http://www.ironmind.com/ironcms/opencms/ironmind/

Cool, nice response, thanks for putting the vids up mick, yeah, that 3 sure is a monster, doesn't feel like i could close it in a lifetime!, there's even a 4, but we won't mention that!
The apple crushing is cool, shocks most people when they see it, the pinching of the plates definatly a good one, you can make a block of wood (block weights) with a hook at the bottom so you can add more weight, another way to make progress.
Gonna soon have to try can crushing though! ( with gloves ofcourse! ).
Yeah rolling thunder is good, i've made my own one of those
Would love to try blobs but I've given up looking now, can you get them in the UK?
Megatron, it is easy to get an injury, the hands/forearms do need proper time to heal and to get used to the extra strain.

Unfortunately you cant get blobs in the UK i asked a guy who is into this gripping on another board for you and hes said you cant get them, you could try getting the hex dumbells though and cutting them in half thats what he suggested.
