i have seen up to 2000 % apr,
I agree it should be illegal
Just on the way out, but this has made me that mad that.....well it made me come here and post it.
Someone just gave my missus a leaflet saying have you heard of 'naylors finance', explaining he was like the provident. Wife kindly declined, he then said 'but you get 100 shopping vouchers' - wife 'but do you have to borrow anything to get the vouchers', he said yes and she declined again. Anyway the leaflet - £99 vouchers, 27 weekly payments blah blah - 422.4 APR!!!!! Jesus!!!
I dont live in the poshest of areas, but there is no wonder that the poor get poorer.
Should be illegal.
but you can always decline, as your wife did , whats the issue here ?
I bet you are on the neighbourhood watch , maybe president ?
seem like a good idea to me if people cant see past it then i think its there own fault but you do realise nearly ever cloths shop you go in every electronic store etc have the same system...... also why do you think banks love giving credit cards out etc
i see 10+ adverts a day on tv lending money which are even worse than this...
i think its a good money making business and has been for years a bit extream i agree
442% apr is nothing compared to some of these robbing b@astards mate.
ive seen some at 2762%apr......fkn mind blowing.
fck all these companies making money off people who dont have a choice.
yeah mate have you seen those b4rstards quick quid i hope they go to hell they are just like legal loan sharks i just hope no one falls for their stinky ****ty traps!
There will always be a market for this kind of finance nowadays because kids want the same toys as the kids they got to school with, some parents can afford to pay cash but sadly the others have to use these Sub Prime companies every year.
Don't you just love the crimbo season
meh wonga etc have there place because of silly bank charges
I know what you mean, can become very tempting whatever the APR, if you have been really skint for a bit.
I bet tons of people will go for it, espesialy if not really clued up.
