Hi Gang,
As we are on a bit of a holiday theme (Well I am), I thought I would share with you my destination.

North Scotland, starting with Glencoe (Been mnay, many times).

Have a look and tell me that this in not THE most beautiful destination. I CANT WAIT!!!

I will post up some pics of me and the weans (Kids), after I return.

Glenn coe is great........we mountain biked around there and up ben nevis about 1988 or 89 ...... tough ut great scenery

spent a lot of time round fort william when i was a kid too

beautiful mate....

me and the mrs are headed up your way in august on the bike

only getting as far as the trollocks or summat ....

we can only stay out for 3 nites,....

thats based on how many outfits she can fit in a pannier......

i can last 3 weeks in the same kegs and socks....! she's takin a fcking hair dryer !!!!! ffs!

in a tent!!!! i said where do yer think yer gonna plug the bastard.....

jeees!

I love camping and fishing etc, but the wife hates it (I took her once). So it means we stay at B&Bs or a caravan / hut (With me "Going off" for a day or two).

It is the first week in August I am going so you never know I might bump into ya!!!! LOL

Yeah, the scenery is great (And gets better the more north you go). But the scenery is only a small part of the holiday. Its the ppl , smell, sounds, air etc that really makes it great up here.

The ONLY problem is this:

FCUKING RAIN.

If you get good weather, you will find it hard to beat. Even, snow is OK(ish).

yeah but what about waking up to bird song , right next to a lake , the smell of the grass, no fumes, no kids in the next room screaming, eating a "all day breakfast" straight from the tin,.....

yeah but most girls would sacrifice all that to spend just one nite in a tent with.........The Raikster...........

i might even wash me sleepin bag......

tbh i think the mrs is just "going along with it all" so as not to upset me,......

Is that one of the things you hope to avoid, or one of the things you're looking forward to?

And you must try the lorne sausage (Sheer class).

And Tablet, has anyone tried this?

Keyser have you ever tried camping? If not you really should..........
