If he's only in his 40's chances are he'll make a full recovery, depending on how long his brain went without oxygen. It just works that the younger you are, the quicker you rebound, as with everything else. As he's been lifting iron he should whizz through physio like a shot. My mum had a crippling stroke at 51, if your friend has been hit that badly, it will be hard for the first year or so mate, expect plenty of tears. Try to not treat him any different other than actually physically helping him if you have to. Cheers mate, KS | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sorry mate.. I lost my auntie recently to a heart attack. She smoked loads and had suffered cancer so her treatment from that would have weekended her heart.. It does make you wonder that if she didn't smoke she would still be here, although her mum died of a heart attack and so did her dad.. Maybe it's the gears fault, maybe not as it may be inheritted.. the important thing is that your buddy makes a fall recovery.. all the best.. |

![]() | Hi ya chump, sorry to hear about your mate, unfortunately AAS can be attributed to this kind of problem because it increases red blood cell count making your blood thick and sticky. Whether this is directly liked to your friend or not, (was he on ) i dont know but it is a problem associated with AAS use. |
