Obese man loses diet ice cream case

An overweight man has lost his potential class-action against an ice cream manufacturer for making him fat after a judge ruled that his weight was all his own fault and down to his heart attack diet.

Stephen Brandt launched the claim against CremaLita after a consumer programme found that the companies low-calorie ice cream actually contained 10 more calories per serving than the label stated. Brandt claimed that it was these ten calories that had led him into morbid obesity and had put him at risk of severe health problems.

Unfortunately, Brandt had to admit in court that he also ate huge quantities of fast food, donuts and pasta, and undermined any possible benefits of his "low-calorie" ice cream by drenching it in crumbled cookies and chocolate sauce.

CremaLita's lawyers described Brandt's eating habits as a "heart-attack diet" and pointed out that it's "impossible to get sick from an extra 10 calories a week". And the judge agreed with them, throwing Brandt's case out on its chubby ****. Brandt refused to comment

Glad to see that the line is finally getting drawn on the other side of the pond, they say it's the land where anyone can become a millionaire, but I imagined it would be via a lot of hard work and a little brains, not smoking for 30 years or splling hot coffee on your lap....
