Guys,

I've had four interviews for a new job in the last two months and I've made it to the last stage so its prob 50:50 that I'm going to get it now.....

This will mean that me and the GF need two froms of transport - as I'll be leaving for work at 5 in the morning, she wants me to get a car but fook her I want a bike!

How does it work in terms of Class of bike and what I can/Cant ride? How do I get me license quick and get a quick bike :confused:

you can drive a 125cc no more than 33bhp with a p/liecence and cbt

DAS course is 5 days, and the test on the 5th, then u can have a full motorcycle license unristricted!

need to do your CBT first 1 day course....
then u can ride a 125cc

then do ur theory&direct access test and ride whatever u want!!

i'd do that and get a suzuki SV 650 personally wicked for a lil blat about& commuting imo

125 and 12bhp with a CBT not 33bhp

is it up to 33bhp after you pass your test and under 21?

thats what i did. come oct my 2 year probation period is up, i'll get a bandit

yeah if u have passed your restricted test it is mate...

but over 21 u can take the test and ride anything... dont go for a bandit they are too heavy mate!

how much does it cost all together to end up wiv a full bike licence as ive thought about getting mine.

I had a cbt once when i was 16 and had an RS125. so i should pass

So I do my CBT, then once I have that study and take another test to ride a big boy!

Sounds cool, yeah I'll only be commuting from my house to the train station - about 20 min walk - or 1 min on a bike lol

But then I can take it out at the weekend

Do your theory first, if you have ridden before you can do a three day DAS course including the CBT on day 1, be on the road in 4 days (if you pass that is).

£500 start to finish ( depending on how good you are and whether you pass first time or not ).

And an R6 is for Birds or Midgets.

LOL yeah Lisa has an R6 i was riding it about the other day its a nice bike...

gareth yeah bandits are slow as mate u will be disapointed imo

I was merely pointing out that it would be uncomfortable for me at 6ft 3, i also knew your misses had one, thats why i said for birds and small people.
