Just bagged a juicy 6-month contract, starting Tuesday, almost certain to be extended as I'm the only guy on site with the needed skills...

Was cooling my heels for a few months panicking as my skills were pretty rusty, got turned down for interview after interview (like about fcuking TEN!!!), getting pretty dispirited with it all...

And then, the agency calls....

"They'd like you to start on Tuesday at 9am, is that going to be ok?"

(me, thinking Pound signs....)

"Hmmmmm...OKAY!!!"

Barman - drinks all round on the Keyser tab!!!!

Good work fella,

What area of IT? sounds like infrastructure support if you have been looking for a couple of months - the market has been ****.

Im looking at this from the other side of the coin LOL,

Closed two deals today, both Citrix guys, starting Monday, 3 months initially, nice margin on them for me as well, oh happy days,

I've got 34 contractors out now.

Gridlock are you in recruitment? I'm weighing my options at the mo, wouldn't mind some neutral advice.....and I have a few citrix courses under my belt! PM if you can help ;)
