(http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/3008250.htm) Now i want to buy some single plates, but im not sure theyll fit on. The weights i want to buy are 'standard discs' will they fit this bar? Do all 'standard bars' have a 1 inch diameter? Regards |

I may be wrong in that but it was something I asked a dealer about when I was choosing what set of weights to get and the diameter of the bar. I was thinking of getting a 2 inch bar at one time but the convenience of the availability of the plates made me go to 1 inch bar. Check with the seller of the plates. That way they know you are buying the plates on trust of their advice that their plates will fit your bar. Also ask if you can return the plates if they don't fit and have the seller pay the shipping cost of the return. hope that helps Peg
