Gym membership fee? how much
just wondering why you guys pay for ya gym fee? i just joined my local gym as i have no transport to go to any decent one, its more of a fitness gym cardio etc, has a squat rack few dumbells bench etc nothing special to what i used to train at with my mate, a proper muscle building gym. and im on a trail period at £10 for my first month, then it goes up to £27? now for what i want to do and for what im useing i dont think its worth it?

depends dude I mean does it have everything you need for what you want to do? And its quite close to you too, £27 doesnt seem too bad!

i work in a gym so i get it for free but it's quite $h1te for proper weight training. full membership is £51 a month and it is so not worth it, the only reason they get away with it is lack of competition in the area

About £25 per month, old style gym plenty of free weights, bars and racks and a good selection of cardio kit. Just doesn't look as flash as these new one's which is no loss.

I pay £19:50 a month guys and its not a bad gym got a few smith machines and a couple of bench a few proffessional squat racks and benches loads of dumbells everything basically the list goes on

I pay £37 a month. That includes use of the gym, pools, Sauna, Steam room and unlimited fitness classes.

Not bad compared to some gyms.

Definately not worth it, you should have told them they are on a trial period, and if they don't get some good equipment in before the month is up your leaving. Get out of there man.

I wont mention the name of the gym i used to go to - it didn't have even a shower and the drinking tap was broke, yet there was plenty bottled water for sale... some people just want cash and don't give a stuff about you.

No i haven't man, but i got a funny feeling your going to tell me about it I'd like to know.

You been to the massive JJB? I went, they wanted £230 for 6 months up front, just because i don't have direct debit or credit cards, its like they got a rule against paying by cash and i don't know why. :confused:
