I would love to mate, but your just to far away from me.

I would have to get a house, etc, etc, sorted before i moved, secure an income, find the bird a job, etc, etc, etc.

Shame - It would have been an excellent oppertunity

No worries mate. It is a big step. We moved from Telford to come here, but we had nothing tying us down there. The best thing about this place is the cheap rent - only £1000 a year. Its been a fantastic 'base of operation' to start up several businesses from. Most gyms have rents of at least £15k a year. Thats the main reason we chose this place actually.

If you were asking in a years time I would jump at the chance but I have to finally finish my degree first.

Your gym is not that far from me and my old training partner said he would like to buy it with me, but the timing is just not right. Thats life.

I hope you get what you want for it.

That rent is really cheap. How long is left on the lease?

I actually bought the gym whilst still at uni myself. I did my last year of uni by distance learning.

We have a couple of interested parties, so we'll see how it pans out. At the moment we are planning on putting some staff in to run it for us and still moving back up to telford ourselves - running the internet business from home. If we haven't sold in six months to a years time, perhaps you may still be interested?

The lease still has either 8 or 9 years left on it. There's no problems renewing it either - its council owned and they have no other use for it.

Oh, by the way - anyone based in the west midlands:

Can you think of anywhere within 20-30 mins max driving distance from Telford that would be a good place to set up/move a gym? Thats one other option we have - sell the lease and move the equipment to a new location. Ideally it would be somewhere with some spare units/sites to rent and not much competition nearby.

Coventry is a little bit far I think. Telford is about 25mins north west of Birmingham.
