Grrrr SCAMMING EBAY BUYER ANNOYING - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

ARGH so annoyed, i put my phone up for sale on ebay last week. I also put it up in the for sale section of here with link to it etc.

Anyway the phone went for £97 so i thought nice one! THEN got an email of the guy who won it who asked me to send it to NIGERIA (even though clearly states U.K only) to his brother. So i thought "THE CHEEEEK ON THAT "" so replied back but when he said he would pay me an extra £30 for the postage i rubbed me fat palms together, ran down to the post office (who told me it would only cost £9 to send it there) and replied sayin no problems etc

after a few more emails etc he told me he was 'scared and frightened' and that he had payed me the money accross. To which i replied 'ok il wait till the funds show up on paypal' and 'why are u scared and frightened?' (thinking - you crazy guy).

He replied sayin " scared because i have been scammed by a seller before and so have set up my PayPal account to credit your account once ive received the goods!"

INSTANT RAGE AND FURY "CHEERS FOR WAISTIN MY TIME U A *SE H O LE' and gave him bad feedback. 3 hours later and hes no longer ebay registered grrr

Ive had to relist the phone now. TOOo much theiveing PIKEY SCUM around 'nowerdays'

I WAS in a good mood aswell just got all this years work handed in at uni and waitin for the 15 hour drinkin sesh at the union bar on friday.

Moral of the story: "I HATE FCUKIN PIKEYYYYYYYYYYYYYS" :axe:

I have had almost the same problem before selling my phone except it didn't get to the selling stage - state clearly on your advert only posted to UK. There is a real problem with Nigerian crooks at the moment on ebay - also I think I remember telling me Nigerians find it really hard to get credit or bank accounts anywhere cos there are so many scammers.

I do a lot of trading on Ebay mate (Now a powerseller

)

I come across many of these **** holes.

Best thing to do, is state in your auction that any bidders with a feedback of 10 or less have to contact you before they place a bid or you will cancel there bid (You can cancel bids)

This way, you know the buyer is usually genuine.

I was bidding on it first time but its not worth £100 to me.

Why don't you offer it to the next bidder down, he bid £95 and has 100% feedback. You can't loose.

Nigerian's and Indoniesian's use it to just scam everyone, never trust them.

People pay silly money for phones on ebay! If i sold that phone down the pub id probably get £40 quid max for it!

I sold my van on Ebay a month or so ago, silly me misplaced the MOT paperwork so when the guy picked up, he held back some £££ untill i sent the paper work of to him, which i did and havent seen the £££ yet and now he says he wont pay , hell theres loads more to this but i'd be here all day.

yeah that was the first thing i did but he'd ulready got another one after not winning mine! I know wot u mean about the price of the phone i imagine it must be mostly older ppl who buy phones off ebay coz like someone else sed u can always get a phone off someone down the pub. thing is i get a new phone every year on contract for free n then sell the old one so i always think "100 quid for a phone!" but if ppl wanna pay that much its fine by me lol.
