Fat dads we may be / have been, but were doing something about it. How many don't and deprive their kids of an active dad ?

I was in hospital with a collapsed lung and was all at my all time lowest weight. Decided then and there that i was quitting smoking and getting in the gym. I wanted to put on weight, then it became an addiction!

Lou ferrigno,Arnie,Frank Zane , although i would say it was my old man that inspired me as he trained when i was growing up and if it wasnt for that and all his weight training mags i would not of given it a second thought tbh

for me it was always being the skinny one out the bunch, just fueled my training sessions. mind you i still look skinny standing next to my best mate whos 17st odd lol

Wouldn't say it was one particular person..

Just was extremely unhappy with what was staring back in mirror so decided to do something about it

me, getting towards my late 30's. years of beer and good eating had taken its toll. Was told by a few people that i was getting fat.

So started cutting the fat and slimmed down,, back to my old skinny self. But then thought about bulking up as i hated being skinny and remember being bullied through school for it. So i'm now starting to get some good muscle tone. Looking forward to next year, hopefully i will be ripped, and would love a chance meeting with some of them old school bullys for some payback.

i would say big ARNIE after conan the barbarian film when i was younger , he was awesome

I was on my phone but I was picking him up from school and mates said "here comes the fatdad" he wasn't even embarrassed I stopped smoking and everything.
