| The Italian Stallion | What's your weapon of choice? I have been using free weights all the time of late just cos I think that using them helps build what some people call core stability, i.e. it fires other muscles and stuff as it takes more of an effort to move free weights than using the bar. What do you think?

| UK-M Swimsuit model | Depends on the excercise free weights are tops and when it comes to barbells or dumbells it depends on the excercise IMO. Some machines have their pro's too like leg press, I just dont like machines with pully's on them as they take away from the exercise. But then again machines are good for newbies and fitness trainers as they promote good form and limit injuries. But for me? Freeweight's every time! ![]()

| The Italian Stallion | hi, sorry been sick so ant been on a pc the last few days. Yes, I did mean dumbells. I think dumbells are better than using the bar, unless your doing a dead left or something like that.

Machine are invaluable in my opinion even if ifs just to vary things up from time to time. Who in here doesnt use a machines at all - id say no one. If anything you can push your muscles further on a machine. |
