£25 well spent!

I don't know if any of you guys have been training and noticed your strength plateau, you get sore but not like you would after a good workout and things just don't feel right.

Well I've had this going on for a while, right shoulder, left forearm, right romboids, right pec all were niggling and I had killer pins and needles in both hands so I went to my physio and he did his thing and said a visit to a chiropracter could be prudent too.

Furk me, 3 visits later and I'm a different man! I'm still going to the physio but the work he is doing is REALLY helping now. Previously he was trying to fix muscles that were being pulled in the wrong direction because discs in my back were out, now my back is in the right place my muscles are able to get back into the right places and my strength is returning.

Anyone of us who is moving serious iron is placing demands upon our body that its not really supposed to be dealing with. Its even worse if you use gear because the load your muscles can handle is even greater so putting more pressure on your spine, so a trip to the chiro if you are having problems which rest is not curing could be well worth it.

I know what you mean mate. I have had plenty of visits in the last couple of weeks due to my neck injury.Unfortunately I am now nicely lined up but need to sort out the situation with the nerves in the neck now.

I hear that!!!! I see lots of trainers at my gym and very few have good lifting belts, no offense to the companies. But those little fancy gym belts are only good for holding your trousers up.

If your after a good thick strong belt that will protect your back, check out

Having similar probs here also (Not quite as severe though), I am looking forward to a 2 week break at XMAS, even though my trg partner insists I am being a poof!!!

1 year of 4 days a week REALLY HEAVY and INTENSE workouts, my body is telling me it needs a break (And it will get it).
