Angry Struggling with food!!!

Well im weighing in at 65kg not very heavy as you may no. Im really into my training at the moment but dont find the time as much as most people to eat with work and what not. Just can anyone help me with a basic diet to gaining weight with quick simple foods, I only manage to cook twice a day the rest i need something fast thats good enough to do the job. Its starting to really get me down now as if i did have the time i would cook properly and probably be gaining alot more. Thought id turn to the pros for help as i hate being skinny like this kind of embarrasing to a point. If you need any more information just let me no as i really want to take this serious now.

Re: Struggling with food!!!

Honestly is kind of **** but as you wish. Bare in mind of time to cook etc

6am 4eggs 3pieces of wholemeal toast/ Porridge with jam and toast.
10am Shake and fruit
1pm 2 chicken breasts small pot of pasta
4pm Sandwich with some meat (chicken/beef etc) fruit
TRAIN
7pm 2 tins of tuna and a shake
9pm Main meal normally something like turkey breaststeaks with jacket potatoe and rice

I no how bad this is and im probably going to get slated but need help more than criticism to be honest.

Re: Struggling with food!!!

Looks ok to me.
Weigh all your food start with 200 grams of meat per meal.
Add in some healthy fats with all meals besides meal one.
For example 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil in your shakes and 10 grams fish oil with your 7pm meal.
Need some green veg in there also at least 3 portions.

Re: Struggling with food!!!

I always cook the next days meals the night before. I work in a factory and we have very little time for breaks. I work from 7am 'till 5pm and the only breaks I have are 20mins at 9am and 30mins at 12.30.

I try to keep it simple. Minced beef with peppers and 'shrooms with rice, chicken and pasta etc. Big bowl of oats and protein powder for breakfast. Only takes a couple of minutes in the micro.

If you want it enough, you'll make the time to cook.

Re: Struggling with food!!!

It takes me approx 45-60mins each workout

never in there for more than a hour

I do 4 sets per exercise and 2 exercises per muscle

I work my balls off too mate and keep rest times to about 40secs and toss in supersets, negitive reps, forced reps, burns, tri-sets etc in too

I'd say your diet is ok but you could add to it to get more calories, like from 6am meal then nowt till 10am so have something like a butty or flakjack, banana or nuts at 8am. I'm not sure what your shakes have in them so If you don't already, make them like a weight gain shake by blending whey protein, fine oats, banana, an apple and milk. Keep them cold all day and they taste fine, they just go a brown colour due to the banana in it. Also have whey protein before and after training and have a super before bed.
