Am I shooting myself in the foot?

Ave just started back training after a long spell off and am bulking up. I am 5' 7", 11 stone and 13%bf. I am doin 10mins of HIIT on the bike after my training session 3 times a week. Am I shooting myself in the foot by doing this?
