new diet making me hungry??

http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/gaining-w...-pointers.html

above is a diet i posted a week or 2 ago and got some advice (cheers conrad)

but i seem to be getting fukn' hungry before bed.. even after the shake & cottage cheese..

is it worth adding another meal before bed to break up the sleeping fast? im doing everything by the book when it comes to the diet above but what should i eat before bed after the shake? another steak? :/

I think you're getting enough protein prebed so id throw in 30g oats or a tablespoon or 2 of natural peanut butter,if hungry dont deprive yourself.

I have seen ya pics bud and your very lean. I say eat eat eat!! You obviously have a fast metabolism.

Hell yeah squeeze another meal in somewhere, squeeze 2 in !!

If you cant handle all that extra solid food use homemade shakes. (oats, whey, banana, milk, ANPB )

Just my 2 pence as they say!

Re: new diet making me hungry??

Perhaps your blood sugars aren't under control on that diet. You could try some semi-simple carbs such as fruit, that will elevate blood sugar enough to stop cravings and get you off to sleep, and I do nott believe for one minute an apple at nightime will make anyone fat.

Also I have used Chromium supplementation to good effect recently, well worth a try imho as it helps stabilise blood sugar.

Re: new diet making me hungry??

maybe you ate so little before that your body adjusted and simply expected that much food eah day.

Also, maybe your body has now adjusted to the increased calorie in take and demanding more. For heavens sake - eat eat eat!

Re: new diet making me hungry??

That diet looks pretty good Marc. What do you consume in the way of grams of carbs? Looks possibly a little light for a gaining diet?

I like the pro/carb, pro/fat, pro/carb, pro/fat approach though.
