Re: Diet for review & comments

Sorry that the thread was short had to do write it very quickly because had work. I have posted my diet up for review due to i dont want to mess around making mistakes by listening to people at the gym and other info. I started bodybuilding at around 15years old and continued till i was about 17years but stopped due to exams and career path. Now im taking it serious and just want to start gaining with out wasting valuable time.

If any one has any input into the diet it would be very helpful.

thanks.

Re: Diet for review & comments

Without knowing exact portion sizes of every meal, I'd say you have things well structured there & seem to be eating very clean on the whole.

simply make sure you are getting somewhere between 1g & 1.5g protein per pound of lean bodyweight (dep on if natural or otherwise) & then manipulate the carbs till you grow without accumulating any excess fat. You seem well on the right track though and very disciplined for someone of your age. Consistency is key with bodybuilding, day in, day out, like a metronome.

Re: Diet for review & comments

Thanks for the comments it reasurring to know your doing somethin write.

The portion sizes consist of 30-60g of oats in the morning, 60g of pasta per meal, and 3 large sizes of chicken around over 60g each i think.

I haven't put any if not that much bodyfat on me apart from what was already there, i am strict with my diet no sweets, coke, treats etc.

Regards to the bodyfat that i have already is it wrong to try and burn it of whilst trying to bulk up because i dont want to inbalance the diet by burning to much food and not getting enough if you know what i mean.

Thanks

Re: Diet for review & comments

In truth, trying to shift fat & grow at the same time is a very difficult thing to achieve unless using something like growth hormone. That, said, it is not impossible, but you have to be gram perfect every day & have a firm grasp on everything. My advice would be to grow lean tissue (I dislike the term 'bulking') whilst simply maintaining your current level of fat. 500 calories a day over maintainance level would be a good starting point

Re: Diet for review & comments

500 calories a day over maintainance level would be a good starting point. Does that mean add an extra 500 cals a day to my already existing diet?

Also on the matter of Groth hormones. I dont want advice or anythin like that on how to take them because i know that i have to gain a good foundation before even considering intense bodybuilding or AAS. Tell the truth i have never even considered taking anythin and have a hope that i could be big just by natural but is this just a dream or could you be big and have a really good physic, just by natural ways?
