![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | p/c/f ratio and timings? I was just having a read of some articles regarding the timing and balance of p/c/f consumption, and was wondering if anybody has any thoughts, or experiences on what i found? The first article was clean bulking posted by pscarb, but written by somebody else. This focuses on a typical evening workout. And the other article was on john berrardi's site, massive eating reloaded part2. Also focusing on an evening workout. Heres how the meals were thought out . . . Clean bulk M1 p+c M2 p+c M3 p+f M4 p+light c M5 p+c shake M6 p+c M7 p+f M8 p+f Massive eating . . M1 p+f M2 p+f M3 p+f M4 p+f M5 p+c drink during training M6 p+c M7 p+c M8 p+c Just researching more, as knowledge is power ![]() Last edited by Lux; 06-04-2006 at 04:41 PM. |

Depending on the fats, they have a less influence on insulin (mono-Omega 3's). Depending on fats they have more influence on insulin (saturated fats). Depending on the carb it can have a harder impact on insulin or not (low GI high GI) What is it you are looking for? Dieting I drop the carbs, especially at night. Bulking I add carbs, throughout the day. I still try to keep my macro's the same.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just looking at different ideas of a bulking diet really. I'm not a big guy so plan on bulking for most of this year but trying to keep fat gains as low as possible due to the length of the bulk. I currently have most meals as p/c/f throughout the day except for breakfast which is p/c. Would a little (10g) fat be a bad idea with this meal? Also pwo is a p/c shake then p/c meal, pre bed is p/f. |
