Hank is on a distinguished road
Hows my diet?

Can anyone tell me if this diet is alright for bulking. I currently weigh about 143lbs and have a 30min cardio day once every five days.

9.00 500ml Protein shake, omega 3-6-9 tablets
9.30 1 weetabix
12.00 100g turkey, 130g potatoes, salad
14.00 100g chicken, 25g pasta, vegetables
16.30 100g turkey, 25g pasta, vegetables
17.00 workout
18.00 250ml weight gain shake
18.30 1/2 tin tuna, 1 slice bread, salad
19.00 1/2 tin tuna, 1 slice bread, salad
21.00 4whites 1yolk omlette, 100g broccoli, 250ml milk

It totals around 1990kcal with 215g being protein
i have spoken to a few people that say this is similar to what they eat but i just wanted to see if there are any other improvements i can make (variations in food).

Cheers

That's actually very good. I will be impressed if you can stick to a diet that clean... I sure couldn't.

Add some fats to some of the meals (e.g. a small amount of olive oil) and you'll be good to go. Also, swap out the weight gain shake for a proper PWO shake.

If you're not gaining on that, bump up the meat slightly until you are.

i would also increase the cals at breakfast 1 weetabix is approx 12g of carbs and approx 50cals....you say you are bulking then i would triple this easily.

you dont have the caloric RDA for a non-training person let alone someone trying to bulk. Breakfast needs to be much bigger, you are feeding your body for the day ahead and you are giving it 1 weetabix, 1 protein shake and some omega oils?

My BMR allows me to eat plentiful without putting any fat on, i only call it a bulking diet because i dont mind putting weight on, i train for strength and dont want catabolism but i dont want an increase in BF either.

My breakfast

1 protein and maltodextrin shake in water as a cheap mrp
5 rasher of bacon, three slices of bread
200g (ish) of oats
2 Fish oil tablets

You can afford to eat a lot at breakfast without gaining any fat, mine is hardly a model diet as you can tell but i eat what i enjoy. I have put a couple of stone on in the last 4 months or so with very little bf increase

First of all that does not seem that high in cals.
If you want to bulk you will need to up the cals.

Weetabix needs a protein and fat in there.

first Meal needs a carb too.

I eat proteins, carbs and fats together.

I also eat 12 fish oils a day
