![]() | i was thinking i was thinking today, i want to get the best out of weigth training and when i bench trying to push an extra rep out at a heavy weight each week is heavy so how about if you dropped a lighter set in there, and u know how much u usually do, then try and do one or two reps more, possibly do this after your heavy set, although you will be tired, you will know how much you did the week before, and because the weight is lighter it willl be more realistic to puch out a rep more a week what do u think? u understand what i mean? just thinking don't know if i'd do it myself but made sense in my head and thought i would share it with you guys!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I save myself till I am ready. I dont burnout on the way up. I guage it how I feel. When I am ready,(whether I go heavy or light) I blast it. If the weight feels light, I go heavy. If the weight feels heavy, I do reps for a pump. I warm up till my workset. The workset is to failure. Hey, that is just me and I cant speak for anyone else but myself. I also dont work all muscle groups heavy. I pick the ones I feel like pushing at the time.

| Looking Freaky | Sounds like a drop/strip set... this is where you max your reps out at a high weight then drop the weights down and try and blast out as may reps as you can... If I do a drop set it is normally on the exercises like side lateral raises, tricep pushdowns, leg extensions etc.. rather than the big three..... I find it give the muscle a very good pump so tend to only on the last exercise for that bodypart... |
