Bazzamax will become famous soon enough
Week off.

Hi Guys,
This is my first week off for over a year now..and hey i'm feeling guilty about it.
I've got a cold and the gym is the last place i want to be. I'm trying to keep my food intake up too..and plenty of fluids.
Do you think this week of rest will help me in the long term?

first week off for over a yeaR! wow, i believe it's very beneficial to take a week off every 12 at least. this rest will definately help you.

I take one week off every 12 so 4 times a year total its very needed by the body. Big time

I am back in training after a week off (ill) and feel re-freshed, i think i will take a week off every 12 just as chef x does. Must be good to give the body a rest

I agree it does your body the world of good having a week off, gives it lots of time to recover fully and then you feel much better when you hit the gym again!!!!!

I find a week off every 3 months stops me getting ill as often. Years ago when I didn't have a week off my colds would last for ages.

I cant manage a full lol, but I take 4-5 full days of every 6 weeks. Basically you have to take a break, and if you dont your body will make you, ie u'll get run down and fall ill. I've done it enough times to know.
