Yes, put your feet at the top. As high as you can on the sled while still keeping all of your foot on the sled. You hear of WAY too many knee injuries from people who attempt to "isolate the quads" by putting their feet further down, and in reality all they're doing is risking damage.

Yes, twards the top you will get more power from the lift and hit more hip and butt.
Knee injuries happen when you break that 90 degree plane.
Although you can vary the exercise moving your feet inside or outside.
Feet outside hits more hip, inside hits more outer leg.
But to be honest, I did those for along time and noticed little effects from them.
It was cool because I did jump like 50 lbs a week when I first started them.

Now you can move the feet back some and do reps for a pump but be carefull as knee injuries take along tiime to heal up.

Also dont lock out at the top, keep a slight bend in the knees.
The guy is doing them wrong in that pic.

Feet at the top, push from the heels not from the toes.

The machine is called a seated incline leg press.

go down as low as you can also, full range of motion remember, forget about those annoying pegs that slot in at the side, they just hamper the motion.
