BUJINKAI is on a distinguished road
Pump

Hi guys,

I am trying gain size and have been using weights that I can just about manage 8 reps with, however if I back the weight of a little I have better technique and getter a better pump.

Should I try to move as much weight as possible or is the 'pumped' feeling what I should look for?

Go heavy first and then go lighter and get your pump. That way you will get stronger and get your pump.

I don't know if i've ever had a "pump" in the gym. Is it the feeling you get when you've been working really hard, sweating, your head is really hot and it feels like all the blood is rushing to ur muscles?

just when your muscles become pumped full of blood matraca, smaller muscle groups usually become pumped easier. If you work as hard as you can, youll get a pump.

I would say a pump is more important and you die with the same amount of muscle fibres you were born with but you can build more capillaries(or so I was told) to feed the muscles which in turn will make the muscles bigger.

I have heard you can build more capillaries too but I believe you can also build more fibres. It is a bit of a theory but Hyperplasia is the splitting of muscle fibres along their length resulting in two fibres being created where there was one. Don't know if this reverses with detraining. Hypertrophy is the enlargement of an individual fibre and is more common.
