![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hamstring strength vs quad strength I remember reading something ages ago which said something along the lines of that your hamstrings should be two thirds as strong as your quads.I'm not really sure if I'm right about this, and I can't find the article, so I was wondering if anyone else has heard this to be true, and if so what exercises would you use to compare?Or if maybe I've just got a bad memory  cheers |

I would say they go hand in hand with squats, I think the two would give balance in your quad/thigh development. You could alternate between the two every week, depending on what you needed to work on. Squats alone should give you a good balance on your thigh development. |

If you dont you are looking for an injury. If you work quads then work hams. If you are a big pusher like in bench then you better be a big puller like in rows. Just an example.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah mate, good mornings are king. I use my wide squat stance to do them, find it gives me strong hips for the explosive speed on the deadlift. You can try different foot positions. You can also try doing them on a box, i know the west side barbell club use a lot of them. |
