![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | painful spine hi gents, my basic queery is that i was deadlifting lastnight, on my third warmup set i felt a small ping in the base of the spine (slightly to the right, along the ridge of muscle) so decided to stop straight away and go home. wasnt heavy by any means, only @ about 180kg, and form is always priority this morning i woke up and it basically hurts more. whenever i swing my right leg (whilst walking) when it comes to being almost fully outstretched forward it twinges at that same spot. it doesnt feel muscular at all, feels almost like trapping a nerve in the way that its an instant pain. no muscle soreness or suchlike. has anyone come across this?? sport doc?? thanks, pete

Go to a chiropractor (bone cracker) and he will fix you up. I could not get off the couch one day and the bone cracker got me going easy. The sooner you get it back in alignment the faster you will heal. Dont let this set up or you will take longer to heal.

My chiro is great at keeping them inline. If they are out then deads, bent over rows, or low cable rows, even shrugs might be a problem.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | is it just me who finds most of the doctors they see as being pretty useless?one i went to see pretty much said that bodybuilders were stupid for lifting weights and deserved arthritus in later life, he suggested if I wanted to exercise that I should go swimming.and this guy was a supposed joint specialist.have I just been unlucky meeting a doc like that or this the general quality in the nhs these days?good luck with ur spine mate, let us know how it turns out.
