![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 5x5 your doing 5 x 5 but doing 3 x 8 on flys? why? isolating on 5 reps is not ideal why choose 5 x 5 by the way? back work = deads, weighted chins (if 5 reps) and a row of some sort shoulders = military press and DB press about all you would want 5 reps for |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 5x5 Its a poor choice then. This rep range is aimed at those looking to do compounds to have a blend of strength and some size, not a particular persuasion to either and is certainly not a bodybuilding routine |

![]() | Re: 5x5 i would also be interested in what people on this site recomend i have been training on and off mostly on for 20years and prefer to pyramid as my old joints feel healtheier as opposed to straight sets esp 5x5.all these different training articles are so convincing i can see how a younger trainer could find itall a bit confusing! lots of acronyms lol. also whats peoples oppinions here on stronglifts site? very interesting for sure but no getting a pump at all? |
