![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Avoiding innner thigh work Hello All, Just wondering what exercises work the top of thighs between the legs? Reason I ask is i want to cut back on them for now. I currently squat along with leg extensions and leg curls and some straight leg deadlifts. I am getting to the point they are constantly rubbing and starting to change my walking stance. I wouldnt mind this if the rest of my legs matched this mass but they don't. Some of this will no doubt be fat so that will stay until cut next year but want to get some balance in my legs. I am thinking of squatting lighter then pushing out heavy half squats to hammer teardrop and front of quads. Any help much appreciated as always Cheers Colin |

In truth there's very little that can be done to "shape" your underlying structure. I have got similar legs to you by the sound of it. No amount of direct work could get my teardrop and sweep to develop but my upper quads, hams and glutes just got bigger and bigger. The obvious solution is to become a powerlifter! |

Abductors are realy important for support in loads of compound exersises (and most importantly the squat). If you want masive legs you need abductors. I used to get pain in my knees - when i started doing abductor exersises after 4 weeks I didnt get pain in my knees anymore & my squat sudenly started to go up. It was like newbie gains again. |

I was trying to find a picture of some workout clothes I have on standby for when i hit 250lbs lol... imagine the mid 90s photo shoots for flex with all that licra one peice training clothes. My one is like this but blue and white block colour. ![]() Its one of them things I bought off ebay in a moment of madness and never had the size to pull off wearing at the gym. haha I have one of them. It seems to grow on it's own though so won't be working the adductor(see i learned something today already) Got legs tonight so will blast them as normal. Cheers, Colin |

Easy way to remember ![]() ABduction is movement away from the centre line of the body. ABduction= abduct. When you abduct someone / something you take them / it away. ADduction is movement towards. Helps me.

Too make this bigger you have two options, pre or post exaust, using either leg extensions or the peterson step up or split squats. Focus on the weak parts and the leg will balance it self. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Avoiding innner thigh work I assure you Colin, when you start cutting you will look back at this thread and hope you decided to avoid trying to leave them out of your training Men hold fat in this area and trust me when you are down to 5-6% BF you will see what i mean, its just something when the summer comes that becomes an issue when BF is medium/high
