3 giant sets after seated db press (heavy 4 X 8-10)

then shrugs (heavy 4-5 sets 15-20 slow reps)

sounds good mate mite give these ago this week! only ever done giant sets with arms before and the pump was incredible!

so after 4 sets of pressing should i do 3 giant sets of

10x front raises
10x bent over laterals
10 lat raises

does that look ok!?

Re: Shoulders

Your deltoids and laterals are only small and make up the shoulder. Dumbbell Shoulder Press and barbell millitary press should be easiliy enough to improve them.

Add shrugs or upright row, to a day you train your back.
Deadlifts and shrugs 1 week, then deadlifts and upright row the other. That will do your traps.

laterals are the deltoid, they are one of three heads, anterior, lateral and posterior

Each will be hit with varying degree based on the movement, the technique and the load.

So anterior delt is hammered when benching
posterios irs hammered in rows
lateral is hammered in behind and front of the neck presses (each with varying degree)

you can train traps with shoulders

end of the day so very few people should be isolating heads of the delts unless they have trained years and found a specific weakness

compounds hits them all

Re: Shoulders

Ahh right thanks for the info.

I was just making the point that only 1 or 2 exercises is neccessary for such a small muscle in my opinion.

I agree with the above. Bin all the rest and just shoulder press.
