Question barbell row ?'

Just wondering if you can do the barbell row with the Ez bar and if there's a diffrence to using it.also how much does the bar weigh in kg ?

the bar usually weighs 10kgs , suppose its a different grip , but dunno if it would be any diff tho !

Yes you can use it...Depends on your hand placement, but it doesn't have to...Not sure,mine weighs 20 lbs.

depends on your grip style mate... i find rowing with the EZ bar is good for when you use a underhand grip... as using that kind of grip on a olympic bar can stain your wrists little but overhand or alternate grip go with the oly!

I'd never seen them done using the ez bar until I saw James L's post on you tube via his prep thread - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzVWDc_J5KI

I've been doing them ever since and love the feel compared to the oly bar.
Do most people take a more upright position as above vid or do you keep a flat back ?

flat back and try to get as bent over as possible 45 degree or more is fine

I started to use the EZ bar to save on the wrists, and can get a better technuique now

I do it with an EZ bar, I'm not a huge fan of the exercise either way..
