The first part of the movement is predominantly using triceps and the second targets the chest.

On the down motion keep DB in a position with your inner arm towards your body ( opposite you would usually do ). Bring down as far a possible allowing max stretch. On the contraction ( upward motion ) twist the wrist so you end in a stantard DB press.
