Secondly, as Con has pointed out - your contradicting yourself - the more excessive the arch the less the ROM
Sorry mate you're wrong.

The arch relating to rom is minimal, as long as your a$$ is on the bench you will still get a very good rom and the position it puts you in allows you to engage the chest much easier.
