DB BENCH

When doin DB BP palms facing feet when fresh i can touch the DBs together at the top of the movement for a little squeeze , on my working sets and as my chest fatigues the DBs get further apart at the top, still using very strict form.now if i need a forced rep ill get a spotter to help on my elbows at the bottom of the movement only.
today i saw somebody spotting i guy doin DB BP,spotting at the elbows all the way to the top forcing the DBs to touch at the top of the movement, the guys arms folded in and smashed him self on the chin with a thirty db

So the Q if the chest is sufficiantly fatigued is this what would happen

Re: DB BENCH

Sounds to me like a lack of lateral stability ie. arms bending the wrong way, only way to stop dislocation is to just let go! Therefore smashed in the face
