| ****ed off living in the Desert. (me week 1 of cycle) | Abs/Stomach Just want some feedback from everyone on how often they train their abs/stomach? i know some guys dont bother and rely on diet, but the more imput the better

But now I'm leading upto competition I've started doing hip flexor/lower ab work like leg raises, hip thrusts, reverse crunches etc to help bring out a little more detail |

| Gym Addict | Re: Abs/Stomach Usually 3 times a week, but it depends. In reality compound movements do work your core such as squats but alough a lot of people hate ab work I actually like it haha. I usually do wood choppers, hanging leg raises, sit up's, cable crunches etc. But always with resistance. Waste of time doing a 100 reps of sit ups when I can stick a 10kg or more plate on my chest (or behind head) and do say 20 reps, much more beneficial. |

![]() | Re: Abs/Stomach Personally I train them twice a week and like post above says they get trained indirectly in the compound exercise's but my favourite is crunch's without specific sets just as many as you can do. If your abs are hurting from previous day leave them till there relatively normal again. |
