Re: lacking biceps

Doing Bi's before back could result in you not being able to go as heavy on back day due to your Bi's being pre-fatigued.

Can you do Trap Bar Deadlifts? I have a mate with lower back probs who needs surgery on his L4/L5 disc and he does 20 rep trap bar deadlifts every workout...

If you are totally unable to do legs lower back then how about....

Back/Bis
Chest Supported BB Rows/Seated Rows (Wide Grip) - Palms facing up @ 5x5
Lat Pulldowns (Wide Grip) @ 5x5
Seated DB Hammer Curls @ 3x12

Chest/Tris/Shoulders
Incline DB Bench @ 5x5
Close Grip Incline Bench @ 5x5
Dips @ 5x5
Overhead Press @ 5x5

Just 2 workouts per week as heavy as you can. See if that offers a different stimulus for a while?

Re: lacking biceps

cheers mate. i hope your friend has a better outcome than me with his back .mine is completely ruining my life but i still manage to train.if he is going for the op tell him to have it done minimally invasive rather than an open procedure as there is lees damage done.thanks
