Flat sole shoes

Just a quick question, can anyone recommend a good pair of flat sole shoes/trainers to wear for squats/deadlifts?

I currently wear trainers for these atm and find they push me onto the balls of my feet too easily! Thanks in advance!

Re: Flat sole shoes

Do you mean something like Addidas Stan Smith or proper ones like Inzer?

Get a pair of converse basketball boots. They are very flat and have the advantage of having a sole that prevents roll when squatting heavy.

You can deadlift in them too, but socks are best.

As porky pie and myself said, converse all stars are great. Also very fashionable so you can go straight to the pub after the gym for a PWO beer , just add whey and your good to go ;):beer1:

Well I deadlifted bare foot today and it was so much better! Still going to find some for squatting as I just wouldnt trust my sweaty feet to give me a firm footing!!
