Ham DOMS after deads

After taking a week off due to work commitments and a touch of man flu, I started back yesterday with a nice back workout.

Did deads, bent over rows, reverse flies and pulldowns.

My hams this morning are killing me - really tight. More so near my knee than my ar$e. Back is just as bad - but I like DOMS

Only thing I can put this down to it dead form? Guessing I'm not squatting deep enough to return the bar to the gound - would this make sense? So I guess I'm doing more of a s/l dead?

I've not had hamstring doms from normal deads before, but is it common? I usually suffer more in my quads (and back, obviously).

Re: Ham DOMS after deads

DOMS will always be worse after having taken a short break from training I find.

Re: Ham DOMS after deads

Could be doing more of a stiff legged dead? Try to concsiously think about putting more knee work into it.
