| UK-Muscle Male Animal | I save my energy for the last heavy set of about 8-12 reps. Otherwise you burn yourself out before you get to push the heavy weights. ![]() One set to failure for each excercise.

If the last set falls between 8-12 reps, cool but if it goes higher then cool too. I went to failure at a weight once and ended up getting 18 reps. Most ever at that weight. I could have gone up heavier but decided to go for it as a personal best. The next week I just went up in weight.
