Lower abs (that last bit...!)

Hi,

Just can't seem to shred that bit of fat attached to the lower abs, commonly known as the beer belly! Upper abs are not a problem and looking very prominent, and these have been developed through countless crunches and assisted weight exercises. Can someone please reccommend a 'tried and tested' lower ab routine which will produce results? Doesnt matter the level of intensity. Thanks!

Sorry mate, there is no such thing as spot reducing and the lower part of the stomach is the last place to go.

This is going to sound kindof wierd but the only spot reducer that I know of is HGH. Right where you jab the slin needle the fat tends to go away.
But that would be alot of money for spot reducing.
Other than that it would be diet.

The only way to hit the lower abs is to do leg lifts. That will develop the muslce but not take the fat off of your stomach. Only diet and or cardio will do that. Well drugs will to but forget about that.

didnt really make sense there did I? Giving the impression I want a fat burning isolated exercise! Looking for exercises which will help lower ab development...like weight leg lifts. Thanks for the help so far guys.

Leg lifts will only help indirectly they utilise the hip flexors more than the lower abs... try rev crunches and other similar exercises...

hey hackskii, tell me more about local fat loss from growth hormone!

How big an area are we talking about that gets directly affected. I dont wanna stick a needle into my stomach and lose fat from an area 2 inch square if you know what i mean, that would leave me lookin a bit lumpy lol.

I now know that a guy i know who competes uses it to get ripped 4 weeks before a show, is this pretty standard stuff? is it also the reason why people who use gear seem to get more cut than natural competitive bodybuilders? that was a pretty general statement mind you.
