5x5's

Thought I would give 5x5s a go today!

Just did the same sets as normal but in the 5x5 routine.

Back

Lat pull down 5x5
DB row 5x5
Hammer row 5x5

Arms

seated Db curls 5x5
Db hammer curls 5x5
Overhead tricep extansions 5x5
Tricep rope pushdown 5x5

This look ok?

Re: 5x5's

Mate, 5x5 training lends itself to 3-4 heavy compound lifts, if you do all that you will be there all night!

Stick to:
Deadlifts
Squats
Bench
Rows etc

If you do 5x5 with intensity you shouldn't need to really do any isolation work on your arms as you bis will be smashed on pull days and tris on push days....

Where are the deadlifts mate?

Also 20 sets for arms is overkill IMO

Ok cheers lads.

Ref the deads, never done em, got a glass back and scared to do myself an injury! Also, there is only a smith machine at the gym Im at currently.

I was done in about on hour doing that little lot!
