![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | BIGz ROUTINE Hi, been following bigs routine for a couple of months now and am really pleased with the results. However i am adding some extra sets as below. Wot do you think? Am i getting the best of both worlds here or wasting my time. e.g WED- INCLINE BENCH-2SETS WARM UP 30KG (10REPS) -2SETS CURRENT WEIGHT (6-8REPS) -2SETs 15KG (TILL FAILURE FAST AS POSSIBLE) Its pretty much the same for the rest of the routine i.e BENT OVER ROWS PULL UPS MILITARY PRESS (FREESTANDING)T SATURDAY SAME FORMAT (5SETS) AS FOLLOWS SQUAT DEADLIFT CALF RAISES WEIGHTED DECLINE CRUNCHES. cardio 20min mod pace run on treadmill twice a week not on weight days. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: BIGz ROUTINE Think i might forget those fast reps. As im putting that much into the other sets im feeling sick and dizzy after my squats and deadz. Will this allways be the case or will i work past this as i progress. |

![]() | Re: BIGz ROUTINE Sorry i cant answer that question for you but i was wondering what is the benefit from doing speed sets and heavy sets in the same training session, is this for a balance of definition and mass. or just to shock the muscle growth or both points i mentioned? or somehting completley different? |
