WTF??

Doing Flat bench Press, i was on my 3rd rep of my 6th and last set when my left arm completly went. I had this real sharp almost vein popping experience on the inside of my left arm, and was worried. I have looked it up and then only thing i can possibly imagine is that there was loadsa lactic acid stuck in the muscle?? It was not a joint pain so i can elimanate that, and its not a muscle injury because it is fine now. My Gym partner was rolling over the floor laughing, i didnt find it amusing at the time so i wolloped him one

Nerve.
Watch yourself as an injury will set you back some. I would drop the weight and do 8-12 rep range or even the 12 rep range.
Did it kindof feel like a shock?

Hackskii is spot on a nerve either under pressure or overstimulated would mess up your muscle contraction. Similar to when someone tickles your ribs from behind when you're carrying something, the nervous shock causes you to drop what you're holding.

Nerves which send the signal for the contraction would have been inhibited in some way, causing the muscle to relax involuntarily. Like someone switched off the electricity!

There's not much you can do in future to guard against this, apart from make sure your spotter is alert. Be careful bro, hopefully that was a one-off

I once disclocated my sholder mid bench press (had 140kgs on the bar)..... hurt like hell... the foce of the bar hitting my chest popped the sholder back in.... but I did drop the weight.... eventually..... that was some years ago and haven't had any problems since.

I find that stretching helps some. Just go light for a couple of weeks and then start back going heavier.
You could do a doorway stretch. I will explain.
Walk up to a door jamb with the door open and make like a double bicep shot but just relaxed. Arms should be parallel to the floor and about even to the chin. Now put your arms running along the door jamb and lean fwd. this will stretch the chest and cause the muscles to stretch out. This might relax the nerve which will help the inflamation. Let it pull and just relax, (it should not hurt) but you will need to do this for a few minutes to get some range.
I hear that fish oils are good for inflimation and are natural too. Try it out and just be carefull for the next couple or few chest workouts.

That is so funny. It's the ultimate compliment.
I hope you get better Killer. ;) You might have just fallen in the wrong grove. Did you do something different just recently? Arm wrestle a buddy? I would have your workout partner go heavy next bench session and leave the bar on his chest, that is just me though.
Damn that sucks because from here on out you are going to be worried about that. You will think that it might happen again. Well take the time off to heal and go light. You will power through it in no time. You are young and that is the advantages of youth. Eat the tuna. Eat the stuff that smells like tuna and tastes like chicken. It wont fix the arm but it will rebuild the ego. :p
