Unhappy Most of training is adjusting equipment

Hi

Do other people have the same problem as me. I have a limited amount of space so am not able to have loads of different dumbells etc. So I seem to spend a lot of my training sessions loading and unloading plates...

example: hammer curls

1 set warm up weight
2 sets Full reps weight
1 set Reps to failure weight

Then I have to reset the weights for the next exercise

I try my best to involve this in my rest stage between sets, but still it takes up a lot of time.

Re: Most of training is adjusting equipment

You see that going to the gym has it own problems..

But I really want to back to my original question. Do anyone else have this issue. If so do they have a way around it?

Re: Most of training is adjusting equipment

Sorry to steer away from your original Q. But think about it logically mate, there is no way you can avoid having to change plates over - unless you buy more dumbells which you have already said you cant.

To be honest, most people on here will say the same thing and recommend a proper gym. They have all the machines you need - and more (providing they are a good gym), its motivation for you if your paying out for a membership, you can someone to spot you if going heavy, you can meet new people, gyms always have great atmosphere and gym intructors to ask any questions on form

Joining a gym really is the best thing to do if your wanting to take it seriously.
