Right bigger than left - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Hello guys,

I have noticed quite alot recently that the left side (especialy my arms) of my body is alot weeker and not as built as my right hand side.

I am right handed and do play some raquet sports.

Is there anything i can do to help this and make both sides the same??

do the same abount of reps and sets on each arm (same weights too), soon it should catch up. do you youse multi gym's if this is the case it could be that your right arm is comensating for the left arm mate when lifting.

Start all exercises with your weakest arm and do same amount of reps for your strongest even if you feel you can do more with this arm.

Eventually it will even out, your body grows at different speeds also nobody is pefectly semetrical.

I do use machines sometimes, i think im going to cut down on using them and focuss more on free weights.

Personally I hardly ever use machines...

this may be a big contributor to the symmetry thing as its easier to lead with your strong side on a machine.

replace barbell with dumbell for everything.

yeh.. agreed ^^^

my right arm is 1 inch bigger than my left. same with other body parts, its just something that u have to live with lol. it will pull its self back together like the others said

its always like that my right arm tapes bigger but the left is far more aesthetic.. not much u can do really the muscle always inserts in a slighty different way imo...

O/T my left nut is longer than the right but the right is fatter...

Sorry, I just had to....

No, with the nuts, it's best to use a mallet to even out the difference in size. First place the offending nad on a coffee table and WALLOP! It will now swell to the size of the other one, or you can continue pounding it to a mush so it is smaller. :tongue10:

Well, you never know these days. Especially in the U.S, people will sue you for looking at them funny. The world has gone mad. I'm so far out of my mind that I'm back in it.
