Not as in the gay cowboy film, as in a back injury lol

What do you guys think about this...???

Due to lossing my makeshift squat rack , i cant load up the bar any more as cant lift it over my head, what do you guys think of squats holding the bar behind your legs? will it agrogate my back ? or is it to close to a deadlift just alittle different, let me know what you think as i dont want to end up injurying myself further.Cheers guys

Dont know about that mate, but you could buy a trap bar and do squats with that.

But once again its more of a squat/deadlift hydrid. But still very effective and much easier on the back than deads with a straight bar.

What your are describing there is the proper/original way that hack squats were done, like anything new just take your time and keep the weights low till you find the right groove..
