NumeroUno is on a distinguished road
Deadlift Routine

Decided to add deadlifts to my back workout. Whats the best rep/set range to go with. Looking to use it as a power compound move to add lower back/leg mass. Know one rep max is pop in prisons. Any advice welcome!

5x5 is a favourite.

If you're new at deadlifts, keep them light and get your form 100% before you start adding weight to the bar.

I do a workset to failure doing anywhere from 8-13 reps.
Grip tends to be gone at the end but thats ok with me.

If its for power then high reps should be avoided.

5 x 5 like Big suggested is good... Also

4 x 6
3 x 7
2 x 8

Lift as heavy as possible for the rep /set range you pick.
