![]() | Help me with my grip please by Lektok13 Hi all,new here but would be gratfull for a bit of advice.I used to workout 4 days a week till about 12 years ago when my hands became to painfull and I lost the feeling and grip in my fingers.I was diagnosed with industrial vibration white finger and due to the pain I let everything slide.Last year I started on lithocaine infusions and this has reduced the pain to bearable levels and though I have no feeling or grip in my fingers I would like to start pumping again.I need some help to find out what I can use to help me grip a bar.My thumbs are strong but not strong enough for reps so I need a gadget or somthing to help.Come on people give an old guy a chance and see what you can think of please. |

For back where you have pulling exercises you will need some kind of grips for. You can do leg presses and stuff like that too.

If so, try these hand grips for building up your muscles to grip even though you can't feel the gripping, you may be able to retrain your hands to close by the resistance of the grippers. Not sure if it is possible, but I thought I would mention it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I might get told-off for this but I always use whats known as "Suicide grip" for most of my pressing movements. Basically I do not wrap my fingers around the bar, but instead "Balance" it on my hands (Near the wrist) and push. You could incorporate this technique into your training. |
