New training split-suggestions anyone?

decided it's time for a change.

previous split:

Monday:Back
Tuesday:Rest
Wednesday:Legs and shoulders
Thursday:Rest
Friday:Chest

New plan:

Monday:Legs
Tuesday:Chest
Wednesday:Rest
Thursday:Back
Friday:Shoulders

and rest on weekends.

the reasons for this are because i think my body has become too used to current routine, have stopped making increases in bench press etc. Also don't like any soreness in the shoulder when hitting back or chest,as i feel i may be risking overtraining them, this way i will have 3 days rest before doing chest. As for arms, i sometimes do a few sets for biceps with back, and same for triceps.this is what i was advised 2 do when i started lifting by an ex-pro,and my arms have grown fine like this.

That looks better with the new plan.
You could start with your inclines first every other week or even start inclines first.
This will get your inclines up then after like 8 weeks you can go back to bench first.
I had to go to this because of a shoulder injury and incline dumbbells dont affect the shoulder as bad. The bench is taking a hit but the inclines are exploding. Great gains in upper chest.

But again the new plan is better. Legs and shoulders are a long routine and long routines arnt as good for gaining. This has to do with blood level test.
Cheers

Am I right in thinking you dont do any direct arm work (bi's tri's and forearms). Do you feel you work these enough through compound movements?

I have been doing inclines first, and my incline press is improving each week.i sometimes do a triceps session, about once a monthapart from that i will do about 4 or 5 sets of each after doing back.not every week though,as i get a good pump in my bi's from my back workout quite often.i do forearm curls when i work bi's,and also do wrists curls a few days per week.
