![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Head nodding on bench I've seen lots of lifters use a bench press technique whereby when they lower the bar down to there chest they raise there head up of the bench. What's your opinions on this technique and what do you use? |

Standard powerlifting bench technique for me - nice tight arch (although not too big of an arch), shoulders pinned back, head and ass on the bench.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Maintaining form is crucial to benefitting from the exercise you're doing. The head movement ought not come into a bench press. If it is, drop the weight. Form is important.
